The VA Reign FC Youth Academy (U6-U10) is the transition stage between a player on the recreational side and the travel side. This player-centric program offers our younger players the opportunity to be exposed to a more focused soccer environment that will enhance their skills and approach to the game. 

The objective of the Reign's Youth Academy is to provide our youngest players with an environment that promotes learning, creative thinking, problem solving, skill development and love for the game in an age appropriate soccer environment. 

The Reign FC Youth Academy is currently for female players born in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and females born January-July 2020

WILLIAMSBURG ACADEMY:

Practices:

• Option #1: Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm; January 6th, 20th, February 3rd, 17th
• Option #2: Thursday 5:30-6:30pm; January 8th, 22nd, February 5th, 19th

Games

• Saturdays 12:30-2:00pm
• Played on the same week as training; Dates: January 10th, 24th, February 7th, 14th

Location: Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex (WISC)

PENINSULA ACADEMY:

• Resumes in Spring 2026

**Uniform information: NOT required for Winter Season.  If planning to join in Spring, would recommend buying the Reign Academy Kit (see details below)

General Information about the Reign Academy Program:

Girls Reign Academy players will participate in smaller sided games, under differing conditions, that will promote the qualities that we look for in our youth players.  By allowing for more touches on the ball, more creativity with the ball, more individual problem solving in the game environment, players are provided with a greater opportunity for successful development. 

While competitiveness is an integral part of the game, the main goal is the technical and individual development of our players. The staff's primary focus is to ensure that our young players have a strong foundation in the basic soccer movements and soccer concepts that they can build on as they grow as players.

Players are allowed to participate on a seasonal basis.

FALL and SPRING- The cost is $215 per season (Fall and Spring) Included in the cost is training 2 times a week + 7-8 Games

*Not included in the fee is a one time purchase of a uniform kit required to be worn at all practices and games.  These uniforms will be used during your entire time with the program.

WINTER- Played indoors, the cost per season is $150.  Includes 4 training sessions and 4 games.

NEW UNIFORM PROCESS: All Girls Youth Academy members participating in FALL OR SPRING SEASONS will be required to purchase a separate uniform package via soccer.com for any Fall or Spring season (No uniform requirement during Summer/Winter.)  The new uniform package contains two required items (White and Black Jerseys).  Waiting to register/order may result in delayed delivery.  The uniform package will be a one-time purchase for all families and will be used each season they are within the Girls Youth Academy program.
